This natural maple bat is pro hardened using steel rods to compress the wood and create a harder, denser surface along the length of the barrel. The Pro Prime TPD1 features a slight handle taper for improved comfort, and its UV light treated Pro Series Finish creates a hard, high-gloss topcoat.
